Gifts of Life Insurance - Estate
(Gift illustration)

Gift Diagram

How it works

You establish a life insurance policy and name the Binghamton University Foundation as beneficiary. You pay the premiums needed to keep the policy in force.

Gift Two

During your lifetime, the beneficiary designation is revocable. If your or your family’s needs change, you can cash in the policy or make family members the beneficiaries instead of Binghamton.

Gift Three

If there is no change in beneficiary designation, the policy’s benefits will be paid to Binghamton, and we will apply them to the purpose or program you have designated.

Benefits

  • You can create a significant future endowment for the Binghamton University Foundation through modest premiums paid out of your current earnings.
  • You retain complete flexibility as to the beneficiary of the insurance policy. If you or your family needs the benefits, you can totally, or partially, remove us as beneficiary.

For more information

Email us, complete the personal illustration form, or call us at 607-777-4712 so that we can assist you through every step of the process.
